Had it sold with deposit and buyer just backed out…. Completely redone 1961 Boston whaler EVERY mechanical part is brand new from the gas tank to the motor to the wiring harness every stainless bolt, etc. The only vintage parts are the spotlight, the compass and the hull of the boat. It’s the perfect mix of functional with vintage classic looks. This is the second oldest 16/17 known to still exist . I purchased it 10 years ago from a family in Idaho who said it hadn’t been used for 20 years… the sun faded Gelcoat had zero cracks. Professionally sanded flared and painted with total boat top side paint. I have pics from original purchase 10 years ago. It has been in my garage this whole time. Bone dry hull with no cracks or damage. Original tilt trailer modified to remove the tongue to fit in a standard size garage. Yamaha F 70 is a 2017 model that’s never been fired up… (been in my garage since new). Zero hours on the motor… it has not been broken in. Stainless prop with back up prop included. Stainless gas tank under seat. 2 new marine batteries. I have both of the trailers original wheels with hubcaps (spare tire installed on starboard side). I also have the original whaler side rails and bimini that I decided to not install, but they come with the purchase. I’m offering it for sale now never been started so that new owner can confirm the break in procedure on the new motor for themselves… motor cranks flawlessly and every light, switch, bilge, spotlight, GPS/fish finder, switches on.
