Selling this Ibanez JEM project that I built last year. It’s been a lovely guitar but it’s time for the yearly gear acquisition, and to buy more guitars you gotta make some new space for em. It’s been loved well so it has some signs of wear, small dings and scratches here and there, with the most notable being where the tremolo nicked the pickguard, on the bright side this guitar’s deep mahogany stain with a tru-oil finish on both the body and neck make it age gracefully with use, so don’t be afraid of giving it some wear yourself. With the parts that this axe is fitted with, you’re essentially getting the specs of a premium guitar on par for the price of a low end Ibanez Gio. It’s a faint, but there is some art of a well endowed anime girl laser cut into the wooden pickguard as well, so avert your eyes if you want a PG rated guitar lol. Brief highlights are the all-Gotoh hardware, and the set of Kiyst Pickups, voiced to the Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Set. The frets have also been dressed, and the guitar is currently sitting at 1.2mm-1.5mm action. The current strings are Elixir 9-46 Nanowebs, although they’re sitting at around 4 months of age now but still are smooth (à la Elixir). Full specs are below. Any questions feel free to reach out!
