Works, needs work(?) You must watch the video I created detailing how to use this and what the issue is. It does notnsppear to create video. I did notnhave a tape to test this camcorder fully but when I hooked it up to a monitor, the slid the function button to record, I did not see any video through the eyepiece , nor the monitor screen. This leads me to.believe it will not record video. The tape deck opens and shut as it should and appears to work. I think it should play video. But, I don't have thisntype tape to test so I'm selling this FOR PARTS ONLY.  It's priced in the Parts Only category. I hope it will playback video.
