Description
Here is my unfinished van project. I had plans to fully convert this, but work and life have had other plans for me. The bones are great, it’s in great mechanical shape and only has 91,100 miles, but is going up a little every week. Its first 10,000 miles and many years were used by a gardening company in Temecula for a retirement home. The second owner used it as a travel van to sell clothes. Mostly highway miles. These vans runs better, are cheaper to fix, and last longer than sprinter vans or newer fords/rams. Since I’ve gotten it, I’ve stripped and cleaned the whole van, done some rust mitigation. I started a build out that includes a solid subfloor insulation, shiplap, 2 200w solar panels and a fan. I could easily put in the hardwood floor ceiling lights, portable kitchen, fridge, electrical setup. ect, or could pass on to you. I simply haven’t had time or motivation to continue the build out process. This van has a perfect start to a camper build out. The hardwood flooring and electrical setup I have available could be an excellent addition to start your camper van build. I’m in no rush to sell, I’ve been enjoying taking this thing to the beach and on weekend trips every so often, but I don’t see a future with it. This is a perfect start to your van build, a near blank canvas.
