Description
4 Vintage MCM Georges Briard Glass Gold Tray Plate Platter Trinket Vanity Dish. Extremely rare. These beautiful tempered clear glass serving dishes were created in the 1960's and designed by the great tabletop designer Georges Briard. His classic logo signature is printed within the design, see close up photo. The design includes a round center disk of gold stylized fish surrounded by striped rays of gold covering the rest of the platter. The gilt decorations are applied to the smooth topside of the tray, while the underside has a pebbly texture, see close up photos. These dishes have remained in great vintage condition, free of any damages such as chips, cracks, stains, or scratches in the gilt decorations. Ideal for serving many different snacks and party foods, these dishes will look amazing filled with oysters, chips, or smoked fishes. 7 inches in width 4 inches in length
