12.5 Ft Fishing Kayak

The good: This feel free dorado kayak is one of the most stable standup fishing kayaks you can buy, it is the v1 version but originally sold for over $3000 brand new. Comes with a bunch of stuff so you can essentially fish immediately. Fish finder, battery, PFD, paddle etc. When I tell you this thing is stable it’s no joke, I can walk from back to front on this kayak no problem in the middle of a lake. Comes with lights all installed so your night fish ready. Comes with a battery as well to get you going. This is a PEDAL drive so you won’t need to paddle everywhere it’s super easy to get around. You have instant reverse as well as rudder control to keep you where you want to be. Perfect for letting the current take you down a bank. The bad: 2 repairs have been made via plastic weld with similar plastic. Both are done well and are solid repairs. One on the rudder, and a small repair on the hull. I’ve got all the tools, plastic, and some kydex I was going to use for keel guards I’ll throw in. As of now it can stay on the water for weeks without any noticeable accumulation of water, rain however can fill it a bit. Ultimately if your somewhat diy this thing will tear up the water years to come. Wish I can keep it but really just need to money right now as I just moved here and need help getting my truck back on the road. Personally I would just remove the rudder entirely seal the whole and add a trolling motor that’s the way these things should be set up anyway seeing as how heavy they are.
