For sale here is my 24" Kent Seachange Cruiser Electric Bicycle Conversion. I have put together several other bicycle conversions in the last few years and sold a few here with 250 & 350 watt 36 volt hubs for economy and range. Now I am working with 48 volt hubs which have more torque and higher top speed. This one is a simple 24" Cruiser with a single speed and retaining the stock coaster rear brake as well as added U front and rear brakes for extra stopping power. The bicycle is new with only a few test miles in my neighborhood. Less than 10 miles since new. It's running a 48 volt 500 geared front drive motor hub and it runs awesome! It has plenty of torque with a thumb throttle and I clocked it with my speedomter app at 24.9 MPH in my neighborhood. It has a new 48 volt 12 Amp Hour battery and this new bike has been a favorite around here with my friends for the simplicity and power. The kit used for this bike is a Kunteng 500 watt using a color LCD7C display and a 22 Amp KT Controller. It displays the peak wattage puts out much more than 500 watts at the front wheel. This system you can change the variables including voltage and other settings from the display control panel. I had the motor peaking at much higher than 500 watts but know that running at full power, full throttle will drain the 12 amp battery much quicker. I will include the instructions for the controller and a 48 volt proper battery charger for the eBike. Most of the estimates about the range between charges are not true at least in my experience. I am guessing this bike will go around 15 miles at high speed between charges but I have not gone than far. I don't have the pedal assist set up but I will include the parts should the buyer want to install that for the option of pedal assist. It's fairly simple I have seen several videos on how to install them on these bike kits. This can be upgraded to a bigger 48 volt battery as long as it fits underneath the top tube, up to a 20 AmpHour or add a luggage rack and could accomodate up to a 32 Ah battery which is the largest I have tried. It makes them much more heavy though. I also built a matching orange Kent 24" Seachange Cruiser with a huge 48 volt 1000 watt direct drive motor but it's much heavier due to the design of the direct drive style motor. That one will run up to 28 MPH but will have more limited range due to the power consumpsion of the big direct drive motor. My other 1000 watt 48 volt electric bike conversion will peak over 1280 watts! I had a battery that could not handle the amperage and tripped the BMS safety a few times so I lowered the settings in the controller of that bike. I may sell the orange 48 volt 1000 Kent Cruiser too. My Blue Flame Retrospec 24" 1000 watt 48 volt cruiser will do 34.5 MPH tuned but is not for sale! Thanks for looking.
