Description
Marshall 1987X 50-watt Plexi Tube Head with David Bray Mod/Re-work III Up for sale, an incredible Marshall 1987X 50-watt Plexi Tube Head amp reissue in Very Good+ condition, Made in UK in 2007. The 50-watt model is one of the most desired ones because of the versatility of having "only" 50-Watt, which is more preferred by most of guitarist, furthermore this one has a David Bray Plexi Mod/Re-work III upgrade. This package makes the amp have an even hotter gain style. The amp still retains the plexi-style inputs where two channels are offered side by side (one brighter and one darker) yet you get the availibilty of plenty of extra gain. The tone controls become more active, as well. Comes with an onboard gain boost, using a push/pull pot on one of the front volumes. Can also be engaged with a footswitch, that plugs into one of the front input jacks on the four-holers. A customized post-phase inverter master is also included on the rear. A true classic, Made in UK and equipped with Svetlana EL34 power tubes and JJ ECC83S on the Preamp section. And maybe with the obvious exception of the David Bray mod and tubes everything seems to be all original. Aesthetically, it looks pretty clean and beside some normal wear and tear, there is just one place in one of the corners where the tolex got ripped however been re-glued and still looks clean overall without any hits nor bumps at all. The Marshall 1960A 4x12" cabinet is not included in this listing.
