Description
I am educing my collection of vintage audio stuff and am selling my MCS 3253 receiver. MCS means Modular Component System. MCS was the brand sold by JC Penny but MCS stuff was usually made by Technics or NEC or some other better known manufacturer. This one has inputs for AM, FM, PHONO 1, PHONO 2, AUX, TAPE 1, and TAPE 2 inputs. 2 phonos is nice and the AUX and tape inputs can be used for a , Ipod, MP3 player, DVD/CD player, computer, whatever. It works fine and sounds good. The controls work well but one or two of the tone DEFEAT buttons makes some static when you press it in. Once it's in (or out) there is no more static. The tuner picks up stations across the dial and they come in strong. All the lamps work as well. I can have it hooked up for you to hear. Cash only. No shipping.
