I think these are 3 central characters kabouki. Frame made of bamboo with felt covered substrate. The character heads are about 3 inches rack and hand painted. This is vintage, purchased in Viet Nam in the 70s with the characters sourced from China. Very rare to see, this was tourist imported and very few examples survive today
