The NAD C268 is one of NAD's best ever made 2 channel amplifiers. Crystal clear, detailed, excellent imaging, and very musical. They've taken the class D type amplifier design to a whole new level of performance that easily competes with class AB amplifiers. Both RCA & XLR connections. The stated 2 channel 80wpc is very conservative & is easily more like 150wpc. No exaggeration. Can also be bridge to 300wpc in mono. Continuous output power into 8 and 4 Ohms(Stereo mode)80W (ref. 20 Hz-20 kHz at rated THD, both channels driven) Continuous output power into 8 Ohms (Bridge mode)300W (ref. 20 Hz – 20 kHz at THD 0.03%) The power supply of the C 268 is capable of nearly 200 watts continuously and over 500 watts instantaneously, allowing for short term musical transients. The C 268 uses a customised version of the proven Hypex UcD output stage. This allows for massive power with nearly immeasurable distortion and noise in the audible range.
