2001 Ford Explorer

Selling our 2001 Ford Explorer XLT, clean title, 149,xxx miles. We bought it 2 years ago as my wife’s first car. I promised her we’d replace it after 6 months, but we loved it so much we kept it. Now it’s finally time to move on. Highlights: • Driven only ~6,000 miles in the last two years • Regular oil changes (3–4 times, paperwork available). • Previous owner had major service done before we bought it (engine belt, battery, transmission fluid, etc.) • 4 brand-new tires installed a couple of months ago • Passed emissions, good for another 1.5 years • Half-year-old exterior wrap, looks great • Runs and drives without issues, no warning lights • Insurance is very cheap Known issues (since the day we bought it): • One rear door doesn’t open; the window regulator there works intermittently • The windshield washer is not working (never needed in AZ) • Driver’s seat adjustment motor is broken – we set it manually to fit and left it Overall, it’s a reliable SUV that looks good, runs well, and has been lightly used and well-maintained while we’ve owned it. Perfect for someone who wants a solid, inexpensive vehicle and doesn’t mind a few quirks.
