Description

Antique "Pets Toy Grocery Store" 1910 by S&G Importing Co. New York, USA. Originators and manufacturers of "Pets" wooden toy novelties. Closed measurements: 13 1/2" long, 4 1/2" deep, 7" tall. Front drops down and the top lifts up to form this little toy grocery store. The back wall has a cardboard triple archway with a wooden shelf. This grocery came to me about 20 years ago just as you see it. It is missing the free standing counter, groceries and scale. Open, it measures10 1/2" tall, 10" from front to back. Sometime after I bought this, I found this old catalog with a photo of the Grocery. Catalog not included.
