Description

The 1934 series of ten-dollar Federal Reserve Notes represents a significant period in American currency history, issued during the aftermath of the Great Depression. These notes feature a portrait of Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury, on the obverse, and the U.S. Treasury Building on the reverse. The series is further distinguished by the signatures of the Treasury Secretary and the Treasurer of the United States at the time of issue.
