Description
It hurts to my heart to sell my self built camper. I put way too many hours into building this thing, but the next setup will be even cooler. The base is a welded steel frame. The upper part is aluminum extrusion. The canvas is a marine vinyl (highly durable and more insulated than tent fabric). There is balsa wood for a nice ceiling and to cover 1” of insulation in the roof (noticeable difference). I modeled it after a Topo Toppers Badlander using Ripcord and Kit Campers as inspiration. It comes with an 80” x 50” memory foam and air mattress allowing you to adjust firmness. The bed platform slides forward allowing easy transition from “living room mode” to “bed room mode”. There is a vent fan and LED light in the roof already wired for 12v. This thing is solid, having survived high winds, heavy rain, and snow. Selling as I’d like to upgrade to a Four Wheel Camper slide in. I can throw in kitchen module and bench seat/slide out drawer module as well if you’d like. I have fabricated bed cap plates, so this will fit a 2nd gen (2005-2015) or 3rd gen (2016-2023) Tacoma. I’m unsure if this will fit a Colorado or a Canyon but you’re welcome to come by and take measurements. Let me know if you have any additional questions. We can slide it over onto your truck bed using 2x4’s. Dimensions Platform: 103” L x 53” W Frame: 55” L x 65” W EDIT: You can have the hi-lift mounts but not my hi-lift jack. -Stu
