The box in the photos are for info only it is not included. Unfortunately it seems it was thrown out in my last move. This thing is so awesome. The switch on the bottom gives you two options, rotate or stop it on your favorite color. The exterior of the ball is an enamel covered metal of some type, cream with gold flakes on it. Because its old school and gets warm with use I mounted it to a vintage chain I had to make it Swag style. Not sure how they planned on it operating without being hung up?! lol it’s about 9x9” I’ve personally never changed the bulb, And have been a bit fruggle in its use over the years. lol
