THIS ITEM IS STILL AVAILABLE 8/1/24 Ikea detolf shelf turned into hamster cage MAKE AN OFFER -spent $120 on items to build the custom lids and spent 8 hours building it -we bought a different cage and no longer need this one -used for about 6 months -does NOT come with stuff inside, just the detolf and the lid, and shelves for the detolf in case you ever want to use it as a shelving unit -completely functional, tape used on inside of lids to cover sharp mesh, if your hamster isn’t a huge chewer it shouldn’t be a problem but you can always staple some wood on top of the mesh or just buy more duct tape
