Pioneer SA-8500 MK1 Integrated Amplifier - Restored!

For sale I have a rare Pioneer SA-8500 MK1 Integrated Amplifier. This is not the MK2 that is difficult to repair. This is also an international edition of the amplifier and can be adjusted for overseas electrical current. This amplifier is pushing a conservative 60 watts per channel at 8 ohms, as rated in 1976. This unit was freshly restored by Craig Tathwell at Apple Valley Stereo. All of the Sanyo solid aluminum capacitors were replaced, as were several resistors. The boards were cleaned and bias adjusted. All pots and knobs were cleaned. The case shows minor wear, as does the edge of the faceplate. The power light works, and the unit sounds AMAZING. A great addition to your vintage audio setup.
