HSS Candy Apple Red Electric Guitar Body

This is a Candy Apple Red Stratocaster electric guitar body finished in a pre-CBS style metallic nitrocellulose lacquer. The finish is applied thin, showing the wood grain through the color almost like a ceruse finish, and it is a thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer over a metallic acrylic base, just as Fender would have done in the 60's. This is an ultra-lightweight Paulownia body that weighs just over 2 lbs with HSS routing. The neck pocket is standard Fender Stratocaster sizing and will fit most Fender-spec necks. The bridge area is undrilled, leaving it ready for your choice of a 2-point or 6-point tremolo. This is a brand new, clean finish with no relicing. Because it is a true thin-skin nitro finish, it will provide natural wear over time or can be relic'ed to your preference. Asking $325, located near Gantzel and Combs in San Tan Valley.
