This duo is a classic chinoiserie decorating staple! The fisherman is holding the catch of the day in baskets while the spouse is carrying vegetables in her baskets. These usually come with pails, but we love the detail of the baskets! Each statue is 8” H x 5” W x 3 1/2” D, wearing traditional floral garb and carrying a yolk across its neck that is removable. Their smiling faces are kind and gentle. Both statues and accompanying pieces are in pristine vintage condition with no damage of any kind. All pieces will be shipped with extreme care and attention.
