I went in there today for 15k maintenance, a simple one. I had made an appointment for 11:20 and I got there at 10:50, Bill Martin told me it would take 60-90 minutes, which was fine. At 12:00 I saw my car was still parked where I had left it. I asked Bill Martin when were they going to start working on my car. He looked at his computer and said it’s being worked on, I said no it’s still sitting right there. He said oh and went back to the service bay. He came back and said that they were servicing the lift. Why would they let you book appointments if they have service being done on the equipment???? I was there an hour and 40 minutes. No oil change just tire rotation and check fluid levels.

this place is full of dishonest, immature, and scummy sales people. here's what my used car buying experience was like:

during negotiations their sales manager would constantly interrupt me and attempt to talk over me. i had to tell him to wait until i was finished speaking and then he could take his turn. i expect this behavior from toddlers, not adults.

they attempted to get me to pay for their inventory tracking device, and acted like i was crazy for not wanting to.

finally, they knowingly concealed the fact that one of the safety systems was not working, and now i'm stuck with a multi thousand dollar repair bill for a car i just bought.

also they will not return my calls

save yourself some trouble and use a different dealer.

update: the general manager mark hashimi replied to my review with his email address so I sent him a message detailing my complaint and that I want him to fix the intentionally concealed safety issues with the used car. of course, he didn’t even bother to respond.

Update: 05/2025 the manager contacted me and we are trying to work it out. I will update in the future.

Final update: they did not resolve the issue to my satisfaction. I’m genuinely excited to not have to deal with mark or anyone at Livermore Toyota ever again.
