Description

Nice L00 size guitar. Sounds better than the new Gibson L00. This one surprised me, has an arch back. Over all Has a nice mellow sound maybe because of the solid Rosewood back and sides. Real Maple wood binding Top is solid wood also. No cracks or splits. No bridge lifting. Neck is straight and solid to the body. Body binding is great. The top has no bowing, it’s very flat. Has some minor bruises and scratches but still looks awesome. Truss rod works. fret board looks new. The guitar polished up would really look super. Has 80 percent fret life left. the body depth reminds me of the Gibson Nick Lucas. 4“ at top and 4 1/2 at middle and bottom. You can go to the Daion website for more info. I copied a little bit from theirsite regarding this guitar. The Anea brand is a bit of a mystery. It is generally believed that after Daion went under in 1984, Anea picked up some of the remaining parts inventory and had both acoustic guitars and electric guitars and basses assembled in Korea (though stickers can say made in Japan). This example, the Anea TN-27, is clearly based on the the Legacy L-999. The biggest differences between the Legacy L-999 and the Anea TN-27 is that the TN-27 uses a more traditional nut and bridge saddle (rather than brass), and the diamond shaped-headstock volute of the L-999 is missing on the TN-27. Being that Aneas are based on leftover Daion inventory, they are considerably more rare than Yamakis and Daion.
