Solid Wood 5-Drawer Tallboy Dresser Smooth Metal Glides vintage'70s Sturdy Classic Dark Brown Solid wood 5-drawer chest of drawers built with real quality construction. Sturdy frame with clean wood interiors. Built in the 70s when they still knew how to make solid furniture. The only non-wood is the bottom of the drawers which is some kind of pressboard, but the rest of it is all wood. Smooth metal drawer runners with a locking mechanism so the drawers slide nicely and stay aligned. Top drawer features dual knobs, bottom four feature classic bail handles. Freshly wiped down with a little cleaning oil on the exterior and a light vinegar solution on the inside, drawers inside and back. I also left it out in the sun for the afternoon with the drawers out—it didn't really have any issues or odors to begin with, but since it was sunny out I thought I’d give it a little sunshine and fresh air. It shows honest cosmetic wear, scuffs, a gouge or two, and a couple of small hairline cracks on one drawer front as pictured, but it remains completely solid and functional. A great everyday piece as-is, or a fantastic candidate for a paint or refinish project. In the pictures, you will see some haze on the sides and such. This is just from lighting trying to take a picture on it. It actually isn't pretty decent shape without Haze or white spots on the finish.
