Bought this air conditioner when our apartments window AC broke in the middle of a heat wave, and our apartment complex originally told us they weren’t going to be able to replace it for a couple weeks. Of course, after I purchased it and it arrived, I was called the next day by property management to let us know that they had found a brand new window unit in their storage, and would be bringing it in to install the day after that. Since I had only opened the box to take everything out and try and see how to set it up., Naturally, I tried to return it to Amazon first. However, AMAZON was not willing to pick it up for free because it was freight, and I was unwilling to pay $169 plus simply to return an item and end up being down nearly $200 and have nothing to show for it. So here we are. It was literally only opened and removed from the box to look at the instructions and figure out how it would work in our apartment logistically. I did plug it in and turn it on, so I know it works, but other than that, it’s brand new and was never used! This is a great deal for anybody that wants to get a deal on a high quality, high BTU AC before this summer when prices go up, and stores sell out!! Get it while it’s hot!
