This is a Vintage Original JONES solid Brass Top Fire Hydrant. All of the valves open and close completely. Because it’s Brass …. It can be polished out to a shine or left in it’s Antique vintage finish. All of the original lead paint has been removed. Perfect backyard conversation piece. Fire Fighter or a dog’s new Best Friend !! The Birds really Love it Too ! The bottom threaded flange is clipped, but mounts Solidly to the concrete. I had it in my backyard for 20 years ! It can easily be replaced with a new one if desired. I just installed that side to the back a was hardly noticed ! Very Heavy ! Installs in minutes….. I’ll even throw in some mounting hardware !
