The rod is used like new. I’ve caught 40+ inch reds on the rod on a smaller stradic. Shimano Teramar Inshore 7’ Med XFast Rod - $125 Stradic C3000XG FL is my favorite reel. Selling bc I have 3. This one has never been used. It’s in perfect condition. 20 pounds of drag gives it more than enough power to handle any fish inshore including bull reds. The FL in my and many others opinion is far superior then the FM. I have 5 stradics in my line up. 1 - FK, 1 - SW, 4 and if I sell this one 3 - FL’s. I’ve owned 5 FM’s and sold them all without hesitation. Shimano Stradic C3000XG FL Reel - $185 Combo $265 Reel retails for $219.99 w tax it’s $237 Rod retails for $169.99+ and with tax is $184 Retail for the combo is $421 $265 is an absolute steal. Treat yourself to the best combo for the price. It gets better but the better isn’t worth it. Last season I caught over 30 bull reds on a 2500 stradic and 6-12 pound Teramar inshore. As well as a couple 50+ pound big uglies. I have the pictures.
