Stunning Young Chang Baby Grand piano G014599 with Mother of Pearl detail. It is truly a showpiece! The piano is extraordinary and was my Mothers. If I could keep it I would, but I do not have the room. This piano has sold recently used in other states for between $8-$10k. There is one listed for $12k currently. I am able to cover the costs for it to be moved to the newowner if someone is able to purchase it soon. Finally, though I don't have documentation for this, the piano was purchased at a music store on Wisconsin Avenue in DC during Presidents Day Weekend in 1985. It was one of 8 pianos used in the various inaugural balls of Ronald Regan when he was elected for his second term. Considered to be Young Changs finest grand piano models, the G-157 is a 5'2" baby grand piano in a beautiful one of a kind custom Ebony high polish finish. Information about the custom finish: - Korean Mother-of-pearl inlay, Jagae (자개) - 福 (복) means "good fortune", "luck" (sides) - 囍 (희) means "double happiness" (top and back) - flowers surrounded by four petals could mean 모란꽃 Moutan Peony "wealth and fortune" - mythical bird surrounding the 囍 character, Fenghuang (봉황) or "Asian Phoenix" which represented "peacefulness" and "comfort of living" Dimensions: 59 in. x W 57 in. x D 61 in.
