2004 Ford Explorer

04 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.6 V8 She may not shine like she used to, but I bought this truck in 2015 with 95,000 miles. This truck has been everywhere from Hawaii all up and down the east coast. My children have known this truck since they were born and we’ve gone on every family vacation with her. I couldn’t ask for a better truck, she’s never left me stranded anywhere ever. I’m an auto tech and have been in the industry for 17 years, I’ve done ALL of the maintenance to this truck since I’ve owned it, oil changes religiously and so on. Just replaced the thermostat and fan clutch, replaced the fuel pump, and also just installed a brand new battery. There are also a bunch of brand new parts still in boxes in the back that I bought and just never got to installing, but they go with the truck. It’s also lifted 2 1/2 inches with 2 inch wheel spacers and currently has like new oversized snow tires on it as I last drove it during this past winter. Oh also has a third row so seats 7 if needed. She’s a power horse too, pulled a 7x14 enclosed trailer fully loaded over 9,000lbs to and from NC twice without a hiccup. My kids, well my 2 oldest are very upset that I’m selling her as they have known her since day 1. I had planned on keeping and restoring it as my kids and myself love it so much for all these years. That being said I recently got custody of all 3 of my children and have no choice but to sell her as I desperately need the money.
