Yamaha Dave Weckl 5.5” Aluminum Signature Snare Drum INCREDIBLY RARE. These are long, long discontinued (production ended over 20 years ago) and unbelievably rare, especially in this condition. These almost never come up for sale. One of the best snare drums ever made. 8-lug, 5.5” chromed aluminum shell with dual strainers. This drum sounds incredible. The best Weckl snare by far. The chromed aluminum shell has such bite & personality; the 8-lug configuration really lets the shell sing & the dual strainers let you dial in the perfect snare response. This drum is in perfect condition. Collectors item! I have only seen two of these come up in the last ten years. This one is MINT. This is an investment. the value will only increase as the years go by. I’m open to sensible offers. Fees here are high…there are alternatives. I’m also content keeping it if it doesn’t sell for what it’s worth. Local pickup from Henderson or $50 shipping in the USA.
