Description
Life happens and it’s time to let her go. Here is the one every body wants…a 1963 Chevy C10 step side short bed. This one does not have the dent on the wheel well for the extra tire so you don’t have to worry about trying to cover that up. This truck has a Chevy 250 with an automatic transmission. The truck has some rust in the usual spots but nothing that will prevent you from enjoying a special muscle truck. This truck has a clean title on my name (currently on Non-Op) with no back fees. It turns on and while up on stands, was able to “run it” while shifting gears. Since I didn’t have insurance on it (Non-Op), I didn’t feel comfortable testing it on the street. She originally came with a manual (3-speed) transmission, I installed a TH350 with a shift kit. Here is a list of everything I’ve done… New valve cover gasket New push rod cover gasket New intake and exhaust gasket New headers New carburetor New 3 row radiator New lower thermostat housing New fuel pump New harmonic balancer Generator to alternator 12v conversion Th350 transmission with shift kit Rebuilt torque converter Transmission oil cooler New speedometer cable New dual brake master cylinder New brake lines New front and rear flexible rubber brake lines New front LH and RH brake drums, shoes and cylinders New rear brakes shoes and cylinders Freshly turned rear brake drums New front LH and RH upper and lower ball joints New front shocks New 3.5” lowering springs 12 bolt rear end with new gasket New drive shaft U-Joint Last but not least…New Gas Cap. I left the blue cap film so the new owner will have the satisfaction of removing it themselves. I still have the rear end it came with and the 3 speed transmission. Also the door and tires in the bed will go with it. I also bought a used wiring harness that I was going to replace some things with it but never had the opportunity to do it. There is a box of miscellaneous used parts that will also go with the truck. Reason for letting it go is because my nagging knee and sometimes my lower back doesn’t let me continue. I recommend that you tow it away. I have AAA so I can help with 75 miles of towing. Price is negotiable. I’m sorry but I do not need help selling it and any low ball offers will be ignored. I am good in updating my posts so if this post is still up then it’s still available. I would trade for a bullnose or OJ’s style ford bronco. Let me know what you got (4x4 only).
