Description

*1964 Chevrolet C10 Custom Pickup*In the 2000s, when American Muscle Car values shot through the roof, many hot rodders and customizers could no longer justify altering these collector cars. It was at this time that the rise in popularity for modifying trucks really began to take hold, and in recent years, the classic truck market has risen to widespread appreciation. Providing a perfect blend of classic style with usability that isn't available in coupes or sedans, enthusiasts have come to appreciate trucks as a usable classic, with the Chevrolet C10 being a prime candidate for customization. The C10 short bed on offer is a true custom build, with eye-popping Synergy Green Metallic paint, and modern running gear underneath. The build began in Southern California in 2016 and was carefully completed over several years. During the restoration, what little rust that existed was patched with fresh sheet metal, the rear wheel wells were tubbed, and a stunning varnished wood bed was installed, which included a fuel cell situated behind the cab. To fill out those large fender openings, a set of 20-inch American Racing Boss 5-spoke wheels were fitted with 245/45/20 front tires and enormous 295/40/20 rear tires. These sit in front of a set of 4-wheel disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors. In addition to paint, all new window gaskets and rubber were installed - which anyone who has done this knows is a remarkably pricy and time-consuming job.The striking bright green from the exterior carries through to the inside of the truck, with the dashboard, door panels and steering column painted to match. The bench seat has been upholstered in black leather, complemented by matching door cards that feature embossed Chevy "bowties". Sitting in front of the driver is an adjustable steering column with a wood-rimmed steering wheel, which frames a milled aluminum panel with modern Shark gauges. A Pioneer audio system has been installed, along with a Go-EFI controller with digital screen. The upgrades continue beneath the skin with the addition of a 5.7L LS1 V8 under the hood that was sourced from a 2002 Camaro Z28. Running a FiTech fuel injection system and ceramic headers, this car offers tunability through the dash-mounted controller - it also has a much more attractive intake manifold than a stock LS. Pop the hood, and you'll notice that the engine block, heads, and rocker covers are all painted to match, and the brake booster has been chromed. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 4L60 automatic gearbox which has been color matched to the exterior. An adjustable air suspension system has been installed that allows the "in the weeds" show stance and also allows you to easily drive with proper ground clearance. The Chevy C10 is always an instantly recognizable truck at any show or cruise event. This particular example takes it to the next level with its extroverted paint color, powerful and modern V8, and nicely finished bed. A great hot rod truck that is ready to be enjoyed!*Key Features* * LS1 V8 * Color Matched to Exterior * FiTech Fuel Injection * 4L60 Automatic Transmission * Aluminum Radiator * Electric Fan * Power Steering * 20-Inch American Racing "Boss" Wheels * Stunning Green Paint * Leather Upholstery * Adjustable Air Suspension * Pioneer Stereo * Modern Shark Instruments Gauges * LED Headlights, LED Taillamps * Custom Wood Bed * "In The Weeds" Show Stance*Additional Information* * Owners Manual * Pioneer ManualFor more information on this 1964 Chevrolet C10 Custom or any of our 150+ High-Performance, Exotic, Luxury, and Special Interest Cars always in stock, contact one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales consultants or feel free to drop by our 40,000+ sq ft of Indoor Showrooms in Bellevue, WA - Home of an Exciting Inventory of Luxury, Exotic, High Performance and Collectible Automobiles.
