The natural shell is inlaid into the metal and is hand finished to suit the shape of the finished piece. Perfect as a little trinket or jewelry box, Would also make a lovely storage box around the house, home office, or on your vanity. Made in India 3 1/2” high w/lid x 3 7/8” diameter Overall in great vintage condition with natural imperfections in Mother of Pearl, and some minor patina of brass.
