Sold As Is with no key. It needs adjustment. Clock person can repair this easily or use as a decorative piece. We do hear it ticking when we tested it. Pendulum needs adjustments etc. ……… This is an antique Ansonia mantel clock with a black cast iron case and gilt detailing. These clocks were popular as functional and decorative items for mantels or shelves from the late 19th century into the early 20th century. Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Company, which operated from New York, United States. The case features incised gold leaf or gilt decoration. It has a porcelain or enamel dial with Roman numerals. Ansonia produced a wide range of clock models, with peak production between the 1880s and 1920s.
