I drove all the way from Santa Rosa( twho hour drive) hoping to take the 2019 Mazda CX-9 that they have. My husband made an appointment for us (He was communicating with Josh) for 5:30pm he even asked for the out the door estimate. He was clear that we were going to pay in full and take the car if I liked it. Anyways I show up 15 minutes late(my bad there was a lot of traffic) but when I got there Josh wasn't even ready for the meeting. He also didn't have the car ready at all, he had it in between other cars blocking the way out and it looked dusty. We walked a bit to the car and immediately I started to see red flags. Josh couldn't open the back with the key and then he tried to turn on the car and it wasn't Turning on. He had to go get a jump starter kit and once the car finally turned on he mentioned the broken screen. He asked if I had seen it on the pictures but to be honest it's a far away picture of the screen and they lack to mention on the description that it's broken. Also on the picture the screen at least looks on and yesterday he couldn't get the screen to work. It was all black and you could see the cracks. I took a close up picture of it and also mention that they should probably take a better picture of the broken screen and update it. Anyways, i was disappointed 😞 if I would've known about the screen ahead of time maybe we could work something out but there was way to many red flags. I've never been to a dealer before who is so unprepared. Im used to other dealers having the car ready in the front for you to test drive it. Seemed to me like the car wasn't even checked before we showed up( that's why they battery was dead) I also drove two hours for this car. I was ready to buy. But anyways hopefully this helps them better their service and system so they don't lose more opportunities in selling a car.

I drove 200 mi to look at one of their vehicles which possessed Clear water damage in the engine compartment. The interior of the car featured condensed liquid on the windows. Rusted underneath. Front end damage. But the absolute best part about this thrifty car sales location is they don't possess any affiliation with thrifty car sales as you and I might think.

I asked if their cars were all previous rentals because the logo on their sign is identical to the thrifty car sales logo by the company you and I know. The very unknowledgeable salesperson replied that they don't have any affiliation whatsoever with thrifty car rental company and the signs just look alike.
Make of it what you will but I won't be back to the dealership,  I posted a picture of their sign along with thrifty corporations logo. Judge for yourself.

Misleading, at the very least

I recently purchased a 2018 Ford Escape from Thrifty, and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience! Josh was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient in answering all of my questions. The financing process was transparent and straightforward. When it was time to pick up my car, the entire process was quick and efficient and my vehicle was spotless and ready to go. Thanks a ton to Josh!

I had an amazing experience at Thrifty Car Sales thanks to Francisco! From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcome and taken care of. He wasn’t pushy at all just super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. He walked me through all my options, answered every question honestly, and helped me find the perfect car within my budget.

I bought a vehicle from them, not even a year ago,and have been going thru hell with it ever since.  These reviews are correct as far as their unknowledgeable, not to mention rude, staff and their superiors who apparently don't have a schedule of hours to be spoken to or seen. When also trying to inquire about warranty I was told that that person is in and out of the office without a schedule and they don't know when she will be back. I was advised to email but given these reviews she doesn't answer back. And the salesman hung up on me. This dealership seems to be nothing but a scam of money making tactics and lies. Even as a returning customer of a previous purchase I expected to get better treatment. However the lemon they sold me, I can't even use the warranty that's supposedly covered everything.  When trying to get to the bottom of things I was told to speak with Moe the general manager, who ended up being a financing manager. Lie after lie. I could go on and on.  I don't know who's running this business, but their representation and customer service is terrible.
