Description

Overview: Up for sale is this a lovely impressionist cityscape oil painting on board. The painting is masterful and mysterious and shows a shadowy street with towering buildings. The painting is signed somewhat indistinctly at lower left, but appears to read "W. Greig." The painting appears to be titled, "Boston" on verso (and appears to match the artist's writing on front.) It is undated, but appears to date to the 1950s or 1960s based on style and age. It is framed in a period gold gilt wood frame. Condition: Painting is in excellent condition. Frame is in very good condition with minor scuffing. Measurements: Painting measures 10 inches high x 8 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 15.125 inches high x 13.125 inches wide.
