My experience at STG Auto Group was great! I found a car I really wanted online and scheduled an appointment right away with Joseph R. The salesman. He was great! Really positive energy and very polite. I was able to get my car! And thanks to Joseph it was a really nice, easy experience for me. I’m so happy with my vehicle and if anyone is thinking about coming to STG in Montclair ask for Joseph the salesman!

I’ve bought 2 cars at STG 4 years apart and each experience has been fun!  I’m a knowledgeable shopper, I do my recon on the car I’m looking for, and STG had the best pricing in 3 states even though Ford offered a 7k mfg discount. I believe their rates to be very competitive because of their business model which had low dealership fees and a simple desire- bring us your deal, we’ll beat the competition!  Selling other car products- of course-tell me a dealership that doesn’t!  There’s an art in negotiation, and STG does it with tact. My 7 year old was hungry, the team offered to share the pizza they bought. That’s a family feel.

So, cheers to car #2 and they’ll be in business in 4 more years when I buy another car.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM BEWARE! They will sell finance you let you leave the lot then ask for money two days later or maybe in a week. If you disagree they will ask for the vehicle back and then threaten you with repossession! The worst part is if you check with Montclair Police department this place is well known for blocking their customers in with the vehicles if they don’t get their way. It’s all a setup from the start! Hass is terrible at customer service he is the one that usually start the process. Then Jorge his sales manger will then try sweet his way in and sweet talk you. Then the worst of them all is Fady! He is the one that will try to sale you something and scam you later for more money and if not he then orders his little minions to block you in from leaving. It took me sometime but there tactics are played out. Save your self the stress don’t let them sweet talk you. Also be aware they will tell you that they will tint your windows free oil changes and for a year and so forth but pay close attention to your contract and you will see all the little details as to which they are trying to get more out of you by flat out lying and then will hold you against your will. This time around the police agreed they are in the wrong this time and any other time they’ve done this to other customers. You can not hold people against there will , unlawfully detaining them is a big no no and they feel like people will not hold them accountable but with the help of Montclair PD and all videos and photo I look forward to how this will play out for them ! This place is horrible stay away! By the way I got what I wanted somewhere else and didn’t get charge all the crazy extra fees as well as leaving with a better and newer vehicle! So thank you for helping me choose a better dealership other than yours.
