Vintage Alfred Meakin pitcher & bowl set (larger size) in the Charlotte pattern, made in Staffordshire England. Both pieces are perfect. Pitcher: 7-1/8"T x 6.5"W (incl spout & handle) Bowl: 9.5"W x 3.25"T Markings on bowl: Engraved from Original drawings by J Gutts (sp?), designer/circa 1830/Reproduced by Alfred Meakin Dinnerware/England/Permanent Colours Marking on pitcher: Charlotte/Alfred Meakin/Staffordshire England/Permanent Colours Both pieces are gorgeous!
