Description

This Buescher Aristocrat, serial number 445755, is a beautifully preserved example from the late 1960s, just prior to the Selmer acquisition. Geared towards the student to intermediate player, it boasts the classic warm and resonant vintage tone for which Buescher is renowned. The saxophone offers pleasing projection and reliable intonation throughout its range. The instrument is in superb condition, with pads that seal tightly (please refer to the photos for detail), only minor surface scratches, and an excellent, responsive key action. While ergonomics are typical of the 1960s, these Bueschers are well regarded for their robust build quality and their ease of maintenance for technicians, particularly given the original snap-in pad design. In summary, this saxophone is a hidden gem amongst its contemporaries—recently serviced and ready to play. I'm asking 650 (including the mouthpiece and cork grease) but am open to reasonable offers.
