Martin D-42 (2015) – Single Owner, Near-Mint

Reasonable, informed offers considered. Priced fairly- no low offers please. This is my beautiful Martin D-42, offered simply because it isn’t getting the playing time it deserves. At this price it represents an outstanding opportunity to acquire a single-owner, lightly played, properly humidified D-42 at a price well below current new-retail levels. If you’re familiar with this model, you know the feeling—the first strum delivers that rich, immediate “wow” tone that has made the D-42 one of Martin’s most respected models. I am the original owner, having purchased the guitar new in May 2015. It has seen very minimal play time and has always been stored in its original hardshell case in a humidity-controlled home studio, maintained with three Boveda 49% two-way humidity packs. Condition is near-mint / collector grade. There are two extremely small dings on the top, visible only upon very close inspection and too minor to photograph. Aside from that, the guitar is exceptionally clean—no cracks, no fret wear. Comparable D-42s typically trade in the mid-$4,000s to low-$5,000s range. This example stands out for its condition, single-owner history, and careful long-term storage, making this a strong buy-it-now value rather than a compromise purchase.  I’m happy to answer any questions.
