Al.merrick./channel.islands "THE POD" OG SURFBOARD IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. VINTAGE AND STILL PRESTINE CONDITION

The pod, was Merricks first high performance rounded nose hybrid groveler meant to be ridden about 3-5 inches below your typical hp shortboard . This board was a huge hit and was a unique shape at the time it was released back in early 2000's. The pod is a wider nose shorter hybrid but maintains a foiled rail and a narrow swallow tail. Plenty of rocker for such a skatey shape. A true legend in the al Merrick channel islands surf design lineup. T his is my dad's favorite board of all time. He passed tragically unexpectedly in December of 2023. The board is in mint condition and is not sold in shops or online anymore. Its 6'0 x 20 1 1/2 " wise x 2 1/2" thick. No volume listed. That's how old this board is. It is still plenty white, and plenty new. One sent in the bottom but no leak or water intake. Its still water tight and light.
