2013 Toyota Prius

We are selling our reliable 2013 Prius. Our extended family has recently switched over to EVs and plug-in hybrids. (Note: Both our 1999 and 2004 Camrys were sold last week 🚙) The Good * The car runs smoothly and is very reliable. * The original hybrid battery is still working great, getting a good 45–50 MPG. * This special "Persona Series" features 17-inch wheels, a full leather interior, and a beautiful burgundy color, making it really stand out from the rest of Portland Priuses. * 2 winter tires on the front. * Clean title; never been in an accident. Tag is good until July 2026. * Major maintenance (~$4,600) was completed by the previous owner, and records are available: * Complete engine rebuild (cylinder, head gasket, spark plugs) at around 235,000 miles, cost $3,700 * Struts and brakes: $900 The Not-So-Good * Minor purely cosmetic damage (scrapes, dings, cracks) on the bumpers from the previous owner. * The Bluetooth doesn't work; the screen freezes when you try to connect, likely due to a software issue with the infotainment system. The radio works fine, and we will include the Bluetooth-to-radio adapter we use as a workaround. Our History with the Car * The previous (and original) owner lived outside LA and had a 150-mile round-trip commute every day. This means most of the miles are highway miles, which helps explain why the original battery is still in such good shape. * He spent $4,000 getting the car fixed up for his daughter, who drove it for a year before moving away, after which he sold it to us. * We bought it in Bend in February 2024 at 265,000 miles. We used it as our daily commute for more than a year and took it on a 10-day road trip to San Diego and back in July 2024. I strive for transparency and an honest sale.
