REDUCED MID CENTURY Mario Tavares Mediterranean Style Oil Painting- Original Spanish Frame FIRM

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! Absolutely lovely ORIGINAL Mid Century Oil Painting on Canvas by Spanish Artist Mario Tavares (signed at bottom right of canvas). He pained mostly landscapes during the mid 20th century years. This landscape shows a beautiful lake to the upper right with what appears to be castle grounds or a cluster of homes sitting on a cliffside to the upper left. In the forground is a boggy marshy woodsy area with trees and bushes. The detail is fabulous and the feel is very peaceful This piece was purchased by its original buyer in Spain in the early 1970's. It is set into a gold toned carved wooden frame that totally adds to the mostly orange, yellow, brown and beige color pattern. Can't stress enough the cool and classy Mediterranean feel of this piece; from the landscape to the Spanish style carved wooden frame. It is so lovely! The painting canvas measures 12" tall X 24" wide and framed measures 21" tall x 33" wide. This is a fabulous piece and very hard to part with!
