Description
For sale is a cool pair of 1876 & 1877 Seated Liberty Silver Dimes. The Seated Liberty Dime had a long run from 1837 to 1891 before being replaced by the Barber Dime. But even though they made them so many years they are still very hard to find because of low mintages and due to so many being melted down. Like all Seated Dimes, both coins are 90% silver. As you can see from the pics the coins are in good shape. The 1876 is a nice VG grade and the 1877 is an AG grade. All lettering, images, and date are all present and clear on the 1876, but the reverse on the 1877 is very faded on the reverse, even though the obverse of that coin would be an upper G grade. Many of the tiny letters in LIBERTY on the obverse shield are present on both coins, which is the first thing to wear down on these coins. The coins each have a nice ash patina to them, and neither have any major damage and they have not been cleaned. This is a nice vintage coin pair to add to any Dime collection. Please email me with questions or interest. Thanks!
