Just to be fully transparent: The truck was previously inspected by L&I (Washington State Labor & Industries), and it passed the initial phases, but the final inspection was not completed, so it does not have the L&I tag yet. That means you’ll need to go through the final inspection yourself to get it certified before operating. The process typically involves scheduling an appointment with L&I (they’re usually booked out 2–4 weeks depending on the season), submitting your plans (if any modifications were made), and making sure everything’s up to code plumbing, electrical, and safety-wise. If everything checks out, you can usually get approved in one visit. This is a common step for food truck buyers, especially when the truck hasn’t been in recent operation.
