Description

Applause AE14-1 1979 Sunburst -Made in the USA Pick up this really nice Vintage Applause acoustic by Ovation circa 1979. They don’t make them like this anymore. This guitar is an original Applause made by Ovation in USA. The factory was based in Connecticut. Made with an aluminum fretboard which will never bend. Action is ok. The action is not super high but not low either. If you wanted to adjust the action, you’ll have to take it down at the saddle. There is no truss rod. This is a very playable and enjoyable guitar. It plays loud and condition is very good. This guitar is really clean the nut, bridge and saddle have never been touched. The Body has a Sitka Spruce top and aluminum fretboard. The bowl is a mid depth and has a 25 1/4 inch neck. Nut measures 1 5/8 inches. There are a couple of cracks on the top which is common with the old ovation guitars. Overall, its a great and well sounding guitar. The guitar is sweet and sounds great. Comes with matching hard shell case.
