About early to mid 20th century circa 1900 to 1930? Great character and history with butcher worn top and patina. Sturdy, Functional. Square block 30" x 30" x about 12" thick top; legs 18" h. or 21 1/2" h. with the wood risers. So, height 30" or 33 1/2". I used it many years, then my mom did. Sadly, it is in my climate controlled storage now, it needs a new home, I don't have room for it. Purchased from an Omaha, NE antique store, the owner stated it came from a local butcher shop. It appears to have a food safe wax finish, It is original with no changes. Threaded rods behind the metal run through and reinforce the block. American craftsmanship, I believe, and in good condition. Industrial era. The legs are pegged and removed at this time for transport, they are easily inserted again. Very heavy. You will need 2 or 3 strong people. Possibility of local delivery at an extra expense? If you want more pictures I will need to go to my storage unit.
