Description

A beautiful antique Weidlich Brothers Mfg cast gilt metal, purple velvet lined Art Nouveau pedestal casket jewellery box hallmarked WB mfg co. 412 to the bottom. Measuring 3-1/4" x 4-3/8" , the box is showing light wear with overall nice antique patina. Please review all photographs as an important part of the description. According to Wiertella's book on jewelry caskets, "The Jewel Box Book", this piece was made in 1913. It comes from their "Pompeian Gold" series. Currently on display at the Brass Armadillo Antique Mall, showcase #154 in Wheat Ridge. Open daily from 9am until 9pm.
