This is a vintage cast iron or bronze hunting dog (likely a pointer or greyhound) sculpture. The sculpture depicts the dog in a "pointing" stance. It appears to be made of patinated bronze or cast iron, contributing to its vintage appearance. The dog is mounted on an oval-shaped base. The piece has a decorative, possibly Art Nouveau, style. I purchased this beautiful item at an estate sale. It is quite heavy. It appears similar ones are currently selling for $225 or more. Please see last pic for comparison. I do have two additional hunting dog sculptures I purchased from the same estate sale.
