Drum Set - 3-Piece Custom Maple Red Sparkle Lacquer Fade Short Stack

This is a great sounding and great looking kit. It's served me well and gets major respect at every gig. Time to move it on to a new home and thin the herd. I did all of the resto-mod on this kit (have done many kits) - the new bearing edges match the original ones. These edges are excellent (as shown in one of the photos). These short stack sizes are perfect for clubs and recording. And mic'd up, they sound big and punchy without all of the deep drum overtones. The resonant heads reflect the sound back faster creating a very accurate sound. It's great to have both short stack and standard sizes in your arsenal. The red-lacquer sparkle fade is stunning and shimmers. This is not a wrap. There are the usual scuffs here and there, but nothing major. The insides of the drums are beautiful maple. And the tube lugs are really cool. Sizes and Descriptions: Kick: 22"x12" (ala Ginger Baker) - virgin, maple hoops protected with satin clear coat - batter head is an Evans EMAD, reso head is a ebony Remo Powerstroke 3 High Tom: 13"X7" - virgin, snare stand included, but I can swap for a suspension mount and ball and socket arm to mount to a cymbal stand if you prefer. Batter head is newer Evans EC2 and reso head is a clear DW single-ply Low Tom: 16"X10" - virgin, new tom leg mounts and DW-style legs. Batter head is newer Evans EC2 and reso head is a clear DW single-ply. These drums were originally built by Peace - it's their top-of-the-line Paragon model, which was expensive and tried to compete with other popular top-of-the-line drum manufacturers. You can find cheaper kits out there, but not with all the quality and mojo this one has going. Open to trading for vintage Ludwig gear.
