Description

For sale is the infamous Avalon 737 SP Tube channel strip. This unit dominated the 2000’s and 2010’s. It continues to be a major staple in many commercial and prosumer recording studios. This unit works well for vocals and guitar instruments. Many voiceover artists love the radio like compression. It adds analog warmth and a degree of crispness not able to be exactly reproduced by plug-in versions. This unit was once discontinue but has re-emerged on the market with a $1000 jump in MSRP and now sales for $3866. I bought my first one new in 2008 for $2500 plus tax. To help keep this unit cool, the rack vent can be installed one space above the unit. This helps to keep the unit from over heating, prolonging it’s life. This is a $135 value.
